You have Nat Type 2 meaning you're connecting through a router which is why you may need to open ports in order to connect with people ! I think linksys' default address is 192.168.1. ! Go under Games and applications and open the necessary ports for call of duty !
Easiest way would be to create a demilitarized IP on your Router (I presume you use one since you would not get NAT 3 otherwise) then using the IP you give your router and put it in your ps3 Way easier trick, dunno y almost no1 use it, found by indy1995: just insert mw2 in ur ps3, go to online lobby, then leave game ans start black ops (w/o restarting ps3), then u get NAT TYpe open A few of my friends with moderate and strict NAT types can confirm this method. Made me a moderate NAT after update. Changed settings in my router and made it open. Then about and week later and some change it started going back to moderate NAT. So I set my router back to factory settings and it went back to open NAT. Since then it's mostly been open but sometimes it goes back to moderate. If you're trying to get Open NAT on more than 1 PC / Console on the same network it is not possible. You can have 2 PC's or more with Moderate NAT but not with Open. For consoles (Open = Type 1 , Moderate = Type 2, Strict = Type 3) ignore this text if you're on PC.
